WHO WE ARE

Tamu is a family-friendly camping festival set in Wolmaransstad, where music, food, and culture collide under open skies. “Tamu” means “to taste / to enjoy” in Swahili, and that’s exactly what the festival is about — savoring the best of community, creativity, and connection.

Tamu isn’t just a festival — it’s a celebration of African creativity and hospitality. It’s where you unplug, pitch a tent (or park your camper), and find yourself immersed in music, laughter, and starlit nights.
